While much of the discourse surrounding artificial intelligence tends to center on enterprise corporations, developers, and highly specialized professionals, startup Equalmind presented a solution at Web Summit Rio 2026 targeting a demographic frequently overlooked in tech debates: lower-income operational workers.

The company showcased an AI-driven training platform designed to tailor learning pathways to individual user profiles. The solution features role-specific and sector-specific training tracks, intelligent agents trained on internal organizational data, and a prompt center tailored for practical workplace applications.

According to Equalmind, the platform specializes in training operational and administrative staff across various industries, aiming to foster digital inclusion and boost productivity through practical AI tooling.

In an interview with journalist Aline Alvim, Equalmind founder and CEO Manoel Edesio emphasized that the startup’s mission is to expand technology access to workers who are typically excluded from digital transformation initiatives.

“Everyone talks about AI, everyone talks about technology, but there is a forgotten segment, which includes lower-income classes,” Edesio noted.

According to Edesio, the platform was engineered to serve workers across diverse trades—such as cooks, janitorial staff, masons, and painters—helping them understand how artificial intelligence can enhance their daily work routines.

Equalmind’s market pitch arrives amid rapid AI adoption across economic sectors. While many AI applications target tech professionals or specialized corporate roles, the startup is betting on democratizing digital knowledge by leveraging AI-generated learning paths to adapt content to each user’s pace and specific needs.

Participating in Web Summit Rio 2026 allowed Equalmind to present its vision of technological inclusion at one of Latin America’s premier innovation conferences, bringing together startups, investors, corporations, and industry experts.
