A Brazilian startup selected for Web Summit Rio 2026 aims to make waves by introducing a real-time monitoring platform designed to track what generative artificial intelligence systems are stating about companies, institutions, and services.

Teia Studio, selected as an ALPHA Startup for the conference, will present its Teia GEO IGO solution on June 9 at booth A3-30. The company will also compete in the PITCH Competition, Web Summit’s flagship startup contest.

The platform is designed to continuously monitor responses generated by leading AI models—including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity—evaluating the accuracy of brand-related information and identifying hallucinations, errors, or fabricated details.

According to the company, the system uses an organization’s official website as its primary ground-truth source. The platform transmits standardized queries to various AI engines, logs their outputs in full, and cross-references the data to flag brand citations, model discrepancies, factual inaccuracies, and behavioral shifts over time.

The aggregated data is converted into actionable reports and analytics dashboards using proprietary metrics. Dubbed IGO (Intelligence Governance & Observability), the startup’s methodology aims to expand standard AI engine optimization by introducing continuous response auditing.

During a pilot program conducted between March and April 2026, Teia Studio analyzed hundreds of interactions involving four organizations across various sectors. In one public health case study, the audit uncovered dozens of inaccurate details generated by AI engines, including non-existent professional credentials, addresses, contact details, and fabricated references.

The pilot also highlighted widespread inconsistencies across different AI models. According to the startup, the models delivered contradictory answers to the same query in roughly one-third of the evaluated prompts.

The company states its primary goal is to help organizations manage their digital reputation and correct erroneous content by monitoring how they are depicted by AI platforms used by millions as primary information sources.

Teia Studio representatives will be available at Web Summit Rio for live demonstrations and detailed briefings on their pilot results.

Web Summit Rio 2026 takes place from June 8 to June 11 at Riocentro, convening international startups, venture capitalists, tech executives, and industry experts. Key focus areas for this year’s edition include artificial intelligence, tech innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation.
