Among the startups featured at Web Summit Rio 2026, Prime Mobile captured attendee attention by showcasing a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) model promising unthrottled, truly unlimited mobile data.

The company presented its approach centered on mobile plans featuring unrestricted data consumption. According to the startup, the service operates on Vivo’s network infrastructure and provides calling, SMS, and mobile internet for a flat monthly fee with no long-term contracts or lock-in periods.

The nationwide plan is priced at R$ 149 per month. Prime Mobile also offers a higher-tier international plan providing global coverage across multiple countries.

Key differentiators highlighted by Prime Mobile include the absence of data caps, penalty-free cancellation, online activation via physical SIM or eSIM, customer support through WhatsApp, and international roaming across up to 190 countries, according to company statements.

During Web Summit Rio, company partner Reynni Anselmo Vizine emphasized the MVNO’s value proposition in an interview at the conference.

According to Vizine, Prime Mobile aims to provide greater consumer freedom through mobile services offering calling, text messaging, and unthrottled mobile data, specifically targeting professionals and travelers who rely on continuous connectivity.

The offer has drawn particular interest due to its compatibility beyond smartphones, extending to GSM-enabled hardware such as mobile routers. In practice, this setup allows users to deploy the mobile connection across residences, offices, or remote environments covered by cellular networks.

Connectivity remained a central topic across several tracks at Web Summit Rio 2026, an event gathering startups, investors, tech companies, and innovation leaders at Riocentro in Rio de Janeiro. Against this backdrop, telecommunications and internet access solutions remain key areas addressing growing demand for enterprise mobility and constant connectivity.

Prime Mobile’s debut at the summit comes amidst the broader expansion of Brazil’s MVNO market, a segment leveraging major carrier infrastructure to deliver specialized, direct-to-consumer telecom services.
